Re: COD5
I will be renting it first, hopefully it will have good enough gameplay to make up for the setting.

Re: COD5
The whole Pacific scene could be interesting, but WW2 guns definitely aren't as cool as the new ones. Maybe instead of the knife everyone will have a quick katana melee attack? Behead the enemy with R3.

Agreed. Way too many freaking ww2 games out there. The settings just been dried up.

Re: COD5
Yeah literally hundreds of WWII games, and no offence guys but being a Brit I wish there was more gameplay based on us, since we were there for first years. O.o

Re: COD5
No offense taken, over here we just don't hear as much about the British involvement besides getting the shit bombed out of their country daily for quite awhile.

Re: COD5
Being a former Marine I kind of like the whole Pacific islands setting. From what my grandpa told me it was some of the hardest fighting of the whole war. But like I said, I'm pretty ignorant to most of it besides what I saw/see on the T.V. and movies.

Re: COD5
Ah well you see for 2 years of history lessons here in England, I had WWI and WWII and everything that happened drilled into me. And my dad has about 300 books on it lol

Re: COD5
Maybe if they actually made it a world effort. Sort of like a large scale game where you could chose your side, therefore choosing your environment.
The very least they could do is improve that garbage single player.

Re: COD5
That would be cool, getting to pick from what angle you played. Alot of the North African battles would be cool to play as well I think.

Re: COD5
I wish they would stick with the modern theater. Many possiblities unturned in this particular theater.
However, they could knock it out of the park with the Pacific Theater. We'll see, I'll probably try it out when it comes out. If the multiplayer is as good as COD4, I'm sold.

Re: COD5
Mighty big "if". I guess its a different group of developers building this one from the COD4 team.

Re: COD5
Oh, if it's Treyarch developing, I'll avoid it like the plague. The only real COD sequel in my mind will be made by Infinity Ward.

Re: COD5
Yeah, its treyarch. Infinity Ward definitely kicks their asses all over the place.

Re: COD5
I'll give Treyarch credit for Spiderman 2 the Video Game, that we pretty good. Haven't played another good game from them though.
