Poll: Favorite Sniper Rifle

Figured since I've been getting back into sniping, I'd run a poll and see which rifle you guys prefer and why. Feel free to discuss!

My current favorite is the M40. I like it's power (especially w/ deep impact and stopping power). It has a decent rate of fire and the recoil is minimal, especially with the Acog equipped.

I like the R700. For me it seems to be the most consistent as far as hitting my target and killing them in one shot. I also think that it slows down my character less than the others as far as running from place to place, but that could just be me. I've never used it with the ACOG though.

I'd have to go with the Barret .50 cal. With my horrible sniping skills, I need the big bullet.

Good stuff zolo. I personally like the m40 as well. Like zeph said when it is equipped with sp, di, and the acog i find it to be the perfect sniper rifle. I like it with the acog because you don't have to hold your breath to hit the target. There's still some sway but barely any. Plus hardly any recoil so if you miss a lot like this guy, you can fire off two more quick power rounds before worrying that the enemy will shoot you. The m21 and drag are too weak for me and the r700 because of my bad aim doesn't work as well. The .50 is powerful but inaccurate. My two cents.

I like them all except the dragunov.

Finally got my blue tiget .50 damnit.

My favorite is definately the M40 its the only sniper rifle that i dont go "How did that shot not kill him" or "how did that miss" lol.. i find the .50 Cal's recoil is far to much...

If you hit them it doesn't recoil that much

Personally I hate sniper rifles, but I'm tenth prestige lv 55 and have nothing else to do but go thru the weapons. I finished the m40 and m21 now I think its the dragon. anyway if I had to pick thou probably the 50 cal.

Just got the acog for the r700 only after three days of crappy work.

Went back to the trusty old red m40 last night and hammered some ass.

I tried the R700 last night. Good rifle, just not fast enough for me. I'm going to work on the M21 next.

I agree it's really slow. But powerful. I've tried going back to the m21 and drag but they feel like weak toys compared to the bolts.

I agree. The faster rate of fire helps them a little, but its much more satisfying to kill in one shot.

M40 is the best then the barret then the m21 the drag is a P.O.S and the r700 is ight but i hate using it.
