Call of Duty 5, again
I have been reading into this game and I'm starting to think it might be good afterall. Has anybody else had a change of heart after the initial WW2 shock?

Re: Call of Duty 5, again
I think it'll be a good game. My primary issues are:
1. Treyarch is the developer. Their last attempt at the franchise (COD3) wasn't too good. Of course, they could always learn from their mistakes, but they did Spiderman 3 after doing Spiderman 2 and the third was horrible. I don't have much confidence in them as a developer. Then again, I am a cynical, bitter ass.
2. COD as a franchise is getting whored, and part of the thrill of a new game is exploring new areas, characters, events, gameplay, etc. Medal of Honor has already done the Pacific Theater, does Call of Duty really need to?
Beyond that, it could be a great game and I'll keep an open mind when it comes out, and try it out before I buy. If it's fun, then the other stuff doesn't matter to me because that's the whole point of playing a game.

I will definitly buy the game. I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to it. I'll let you know later if I'm disapointed or not.
